Since 1980, we have been designing and manufacturing hinges and hydraulic closing systems, with a strong focus on high-precision machining processes. Our expertise has developed across different industries with all the same core requirements: quality, robustness, and reliability. From commercial refrigeration to pedestrian access gates, from wooden and aluminium doors to pivot and security doors, as well as shower enclosures, every OLMI solution is developed through a technical and design-driven approach focused on our customers’ real application needs.

Alongside a well-established product range, we collaborate with companies and industrial partners in the development of customized ODM projects. We operate in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standards and continuously invest in research, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
In recent years, we have expanded our product portfolio and strengthened our presence in the architectural and technical hardware sectors, with new product lines dedicated to frameless glass doors, pivot systems, security doors, concealed hydraulic solutions, and vertical applications for pedestrian access systems.

Our story

We look to the future, with an eye to the past

1980

The year it all began. Ivano Miglioranzo’s cutting-edge, innovative vision pushed him to found the Miglioranzo Group.

2010

With many years of experience behind it, the company further established itself and OL.MI SRL was born. A great innovator in the hydraulic hinge sector, in that same year it launched the ARIETE series: a new closing system for gates with a speed control mechanism.

2012

The first hinge for commercial refrigeration was launched, an innovative range of hydraulic hinges for pivot doors incorporating a “soft close” system for speed-controlled closing.

2015

BOTOLA was launched, the self-closing system for hatches in wind turbines, manholes and portholes, with motion control and speed regulation mechanisms.

2016

The new REI line was introduced, an integrated hinge and door closer system for flush-to-wall doors. In the same year, OL.MI SRL obtained its ISO 9001:2015 Certificate, while numerous patents of international importance were recognized.

2018-2019

FUSION & REVERSE came into being, as an extension to the range for the commercial refrigeration market, and KIT INVISIBLE SM-B for swing doors.

2020-2021

With a view to continuous progress, the R&D division deployed the FUSION range with the FUSION STRONG.

2022-2023

In line with the innovation that distinguishes our business, we have completed the fusion range with the FUSION LIGHT S and launched the SHOWER range for shower enclosures.
